Santee Adult Daycare - Tender loving care for senior citizens and disabled adults.
Santee Adult Daycare/Personal Care Aids Programs provides services to restore, maintain and promote the health of the client through health care related supportive services. We have a loving, well-trained staff certified in first-aid and CPR. A registered nurse is also on staff daily. Activities are planned daily such as arts & crafts, cultural events, health & exercise programs, music therapy, worship time (optional), field trips and educational programs.
Our Personal Care Aid Program (PC11) provides services in the client's place of residence. PC11 Services include activities of daily such as: eating, bathing, personal grooming and dressing. Personal hygiene, meal planning and preparation, assisting client in/out of bed, assisting with ambulating and toileting and maintaining continence. Home support include: cleaning, laundry, shopping, home safety and errands. The clients condition is monitored daily.

The Greater Santee Literacy Council is the support arm for family literacy enhancement in the Greater Lake Marion Community. Program attention focuses upon the preparation and continuation of adult skills in the areas of Basic Skill Development, Workplace Literacy, Family Literacy and Civic Literacy.
Volunteers tutors provide one-on-one instruction with small group instruction (2-3) persons and large group (3-7) persons.
A basic computer class is offered once a week for a small fee. Our motto is "each one teach one" because we believe that we can make a difference where we live.
