Lake Marion GC offers strategically placed hazards to intrigue all golf enthusiasts among the gentle, rolling terrain of this well laid-out course. Wide fairways lined with native flora, provide a gracious setting in which to test your skills. In 2004, all greens were reshaped and planted. Five of the 18 holes have water hazards, and the 47 reconstructed traps will challenge most golfers. Playing on this par-72 course will be an enjoyable experience for every golfer. The course is located next door to Santee Cooper Country Club. New this year... a lighted driving range.

18-hole course is tucked inside Santee Cooper Resort, a picturesque neighborhood, where the course and Lake Marion provide recreation for the residents year round. Amenities include a clubhouse, driving range, putting green, cart rental and a snack bar. The well-stocked pro shop offers club rentals, lessons and club repair. Also, there are tennis courts located near the pro shop.

Rolling hills and mossy oaks come together to mix low-country charm with highland terrain. Five strategically situated lakes bring water into play on the course. With four sets of tees at each hole, golfers can match the challenge of the course to their skill level. With a recent renovation completed in 2005, Santee National is proud to boast new Champion Bermuda greens, state-of-the-art drainage, freshly shaped bunkers filled with white sand, and an additional 200 trees to help define its challenge and character. Golf Digest’s Places to Play gives Santee National a 4-star rating.

Foxboro Golf Club is nestled on the shores of Lake Marion and has been renovated from tee to green creating a great test and a player-friendly round. Foxboro features Bermuda greens – considered some of the finest in the area – to compliment the open links-style layout. The Porter Gibson design is great fun to play and includes an abundance of wildlife living on or near the grounds. The course is rated 3-stars by Golf Digest’s “Places to Play”.

Wescott Plantation

This 27-hole gem features a design that combines traditional low country flavor of flowing land and classic bunkering with vegetation that frames and separates each hole. The three nines – Oak Forest, Burn Kill and Black Robin are derived from the site’s history.
