Lake
Marion GC offers strategically placed hazards
to intrigue all golf enthusiasts among the
gentle, rolling terrain of this well laid-out
course. Wide fairways lined with native
flora, provide a gracious setting in which
to test your skills. In 2004, all greens
were reshaped and planted. Five of the 18
holes have water hazards, and the 47 reconstructed
traps will challenge most golfers. Playing
on this par-72 course will be an enjoyable
experience for every golfer. The course
is located next door to Santee Cooper Country
Club. New this year... a lighted driving
range.

Rolling
hills and mossy oaks come together to mix
low-country charm with highland terrain.
Five strategically situated lakes bring
water into play on the course. With four
sets of tees at each hole, golfers can match
the challenge of the course to their skill
level. With a recent renovation completed
in 2005, Santee National is proud to boast
new Champion Bermuda greens, state-of-the-art
drainage, freshly shaped bunkers filled
with white sand, and an additional 200 trees
to help define its challenge and character.
Golf Digests Places to Play gives
Santee National a 4-star rating.

The
par-72, 18-hole Players Course is a golfer-friendly
challenge and accommodates a varying proficiency
of play. Big, forgiving tifdwarf greens
and wide Bermuda fairways make playing the
golf course a joy for beginning golfers.
However, positioning of the tees and the
choice of tee box can significantly increase
the challenge of play and appeal for the
more serious player.
