A Letter from Our Mayor
On behalf of the Town Council and the community, welcome to Santee, SC. To help you better understand our community, we have recently adopted the slogan "Santee - An Oasis of Recreation." Through this message we hope to express that Santee can be your refuge from day-to-day stress. We are very proud of Santee’s natural bounties, and wish to share them with you! Let Santee be your Oasis.
Indeed, Santee offers something for everyone. Throughout the years we have been a destination for golfers, fisherman, and outdoor lovers from around the world. The Santee State Park provides the perfect setting for quiet strolls or family outings. The golf courses provide an economical opportunity to experience one, or several new fairways on your trip. Charter a boat, visit our world-renowned Lake Marion, and reel in that fish that always seems to "get away."
